Clinical engagement

Contact us

Clinical and financial decisions are interdependent in modern healthcare delivery. Treatment availability can be determined by judgments on effectiveness and resource constraints while the information captured during care delivery directly affects payment from commissioners to providers.

Our services aim to increase the profile and understanding of these issues - at both individual clinician and trust board level - through a range of awareness programmes for clinical staff.

These programmes include:

  • SNOMED CT
  • PbR
  • HRG 4.

These programmes are delivered by multi-disciplinary teams of clinical and business consultants including doctors, nurses, pharmacists and clinical coders with first hand experience of healthcare delivery. They also include consultants with expertise in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship gained in both the public and private sectors.

Tribal’s HRG 4 reimbursement assurance service is delivered by clinical and business consultants working closely with clinicians to analysis their activity and advise both them and clinical coders how to accurately capture and code activity to ensure correct reimbursement under HRG 4.

Tribal also delivers business case preparation training workshops to help primary care professionals identify and develop a range of new business opportunities.

We worked closely with Westhill (a part of Tribal) to better understand our clinical information and in particular how our coded activity translates to the HRGs that underpin PbR. We now have processes in place which ensure we can accurately assign tariffs to surgical procedures.
