Tribal

Foundation projects

The Tribal Foundation supports sustainable projects in the UK and the developing world, which reflect Tribal’s expertise in areas such as education and health.

Projects we support must demonstrate clear evidence of the impact on individuals and communities. The initiatives we have funded include work to prevent gender-based violence in Botswana, a disability project in Lesotho and building a school in India. While the projects may have very different objectives, a key theme running through the Foundation’s activity is the desire to support income generation and ‘help people to help themselves’.

We also make a portion of our funds available to staff-nominated charities, which are usually based in the UK. In the past, we have sponsored a high-intensity phototherapy unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital, funded a helper for a year at the Tykes Corner playgroup and donated money to a children's hospice.
