About the Foundation

We work with Skillshare International, a non-governmental organisation with many years’ experience in managing development programmes in Africa and India.

Over the last five years, the Foundation has contributed over £450,000 of funding towards projects managed by Skillshare, generating a further £2,500,000 from the EU, the UK Government and other sources. We also support UK-based charities that have been nominated by Tribal staff.

The Foundation has a board of trustees and virtually no administration costs, as the trustees cover all of their own expenses.

The work of the Foundation is strongly supported by staff throughout Tribal, as well as by many of our suppliers and customers, who also share our vision. The Foundation is an important part of Tribal’s commitment to corporate responsibility.
