Welcome to Empower Online 2020

Empower Online is your virtual and interactive Higher Education event in lieu of our annual Empower Conference.  Hear from leaders in education, learn about the latest Tribal product developments and network with your peers, just like you would at our face to face conference, but from the comfort and convenience of your office or home.

Who should attend?

Empower Online is for anyone interested in our physical event but specifically those who use SITS, Dynamics, Engage in their roles as well as anyone interested in their universities journey to Edge. We welcome everyone from analysts and developers; registry staff and those involved in marketing and student recruitment; right up to senior decision makers such as CIOs and Vice Chancellors.

What’s on the agenda?

We’ll be looking at the big issues currently facing HE and taking a look at what things might look like for our future students. As always, we’ll be showing you what’s new in SITS as well as our overall HE suite of solutions and have inspiring case studies by universities making the most of their Tribal solutions.

The site is where you will watch conference presentations and participate with questions and comments in real time.

We’ll be looking at the big issues currently facing HE and taking a look at what things might look like for our future students. As always, we’ll be showing you what’s new in SITS as well as our overall HE suite of solutions and have inspiring case studies by universities making the most of their Tribal solutions.

The conference will from 10 am until 5 pm (GMT). There are a number of live sessions in the morning and afternoon, with live Q&A and polls. Throughout the afternoon there will also be a number of ‘on demand’ sessions that can be viewed between live sessions or at your convenience. Sessions will also be available for viewing ‘on demand’ after the conference, although live Q&A will only be available on the day of the event.

We advise you book out time in your diary between 10am and 5pm on 14th July – there is a calendar invitation in the confirmation email. In the week before the event you will receive information on how to login with access to view the full agenda (which is also available on our website). You can select sessions you plan to attend and add these within the event app to your own personal agenda. There are also a number of on demand sessions – these cannot be added to your agenda but can be viewed any time at your convenience during the afternoon and after the event.

There are lots of opportunities to ask questions – this can be during the live sessions, or you can submit questions through the Q&A of our ‘on demand’ sessions which will be answered at the end of the day. You can also speak with colleagues and peers using virtual chat or booking video meetings (which can also be managed in advance of the event). Finally there is also a forum for general questions.

You can register using the registration link in our booking email, or on these Tribal web pages. There is a set fee per institution so ensure one person makes the booking on behalf of all delegates, and that they have all the contact information required so they can receive their login email details directly.

Once you or a colleague registers your institution, both the booker and the delegates will receive an email confirming the booking. Details on how to connect to the conference will be sent to all delegates by email in the week preceding the event. An institution can register up to 20 delegates and all the delegates details and emails must be provided during registration.

There is a set fee of £500 + vat per institution, allowing up to 20 delegates to be added that particular booking. Please provide a PO number within 2 weeks of booking to events@tribalgroup.com. We will send you an invoice payable in full before the event.

If an issue still persists please contact support@allintheloop.com.

Your password to log in to the virtual event is provided in an email by Tribal Group a week before the conference. If you have forgotten your password please check this email. You can also contact support@allintheloop.com who manage the event platform and will reset your password for you. We advise logging in and checking your details are correct the week preceding the event.

Please check the email used when registered or ask the person who booked on your behalf which email address they used for you. If there is an issue please contact events@tribalgroup.com
