Auckland Institute of Studies set to deliver the Tribal Campus Solution
AIS (Auckland Institute of Studies) is one of New Zealand's largest and most international independent degree providers, operating out of two campuses and with approximately 1000 students.
Auckland Institute of Studies is set to replace their existing AIS SMS solution and “home-grown” portal with the Tribal Campus solution, including the Tribal PEPi SMS and Tribal DELTA Portal. The existing AIS SMS solution was dated, heavily customised and no longer supported.
AIS have previously undertaken paid consultancy work provided by Tribal Campus staff to determine the compatibility of their requirements with the Tribal Campus solution. Paid workshops were conducted and a “high level” set of design documentation was provided by Tribal Campus in May 2016.
Speaking on behalf of Tribal, Marcel Creed, Director of Market Development, APAC said:
“The extended period spent working with AIS has allowed us to develop a partnership to install the Tribal Campus solution that is based on mutual understanding. We feel we have reached a common understanding on the solution requirements and are excited by our opportunities to assist AIS in their future growth in the New Zealand higher education sector.”
Dr Lin Zhao, Business Analyst at AIS said:
“Tribal Campus offers a compatible solution that works with our current business practices and requirements. As a large, reputable company, we trust Tribal to deliver robust support services and look forward to further developing our partnership”.
Benefits to AIS
• Through the many pre-sales workshops and detailed demonstrations, AIS have a confident position in understanding the solution offering
• AIS received benefit from a discounted License and will enjoy a cost-effective solution that is mostly compatible with their requirements “out of the box”
• The flexibility of PEPi allowed AIS to elect to have the solution locally hosted on premise, reducing cost and allowing them a degree of control over the solution performance.
