Originally awarded in 2007, Tribal is delighted to announce that the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) contract in New Zealand has been extended for another year through to July 2020.

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is a Crown Agency that invests over $3 billion into tertiary education, providing New Zealanders with the skills and knowledge needed for lifelong success. Tribal has been partnering with TEC for 11 years, delivering performance benchmarking services which analyses and compares the relative performance of all Universities, Institutes of Technology & Polytechnics (ITPs), and Wānanga in New Zealand.

The service Tribal will provide covers not only comprehensive financial performance but also the detailed educational performance of students engaging in tertiary education in New Zealand. As part of the service, Tribal has also developed a specific reporting portal through which hundreds of users can access performance results.

Adrian Massey, Managing Consultant speaking on behalf of Tribal comments,

TEC was Tribal’s first customer in New Zealand and we have developed a strong partnership. It’s a real privilege to continue to work alongside TEC this coming year and generate opportunities for TEC to understand how the Universities, ITP's, and Wānanga are making informed investment decisions to meet current fiscal and policy challenges. With significant reform and change on the horizon, notably in the context of ITPS, the impact of this kind of investment on student successes cannot be underestimated!”

The Analysis and Benchmarking service Tribal provides enables individual institutions to consider their investment decisions about where they deploy key resources to have the most impact on student success and experience of every student.
