Tribal’s Quality Assurance Solutions (QAS) have won a contract to inspect schools on behalf of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).

Tribal will be the sole supplier of inspections across the Emirate, a role previously shared with the Education Development Trust. By the end of the contract in August 2019, Tribal will have inspected most public and private schools in Abu Dhabi.

Janet Tomlinson, Managing Director QAS said:

“This is a clear signal of ADEC’s increased confidence in our capabilities, and the hard work put into new processes, improvement initiatives and efficiencies by Simon Peters, his team in the UAE and the teams in Bristol. It is a fantastic achievement and puts Tribal in an extremely strong position in this region.”

Starting in September, the latest contract will require an expansion of the inspection team. As well as delivering high-quality inspections, the team will evaluate educational initiatives and continue to develop and train local Emirati inspectors to enable a sustainable model of school improvement, empowering the future of education in this region.
