University English Centres Australia benchmark international operations with i-graduate
Last updated: 20/10/2017
i-graduate have gone live with a benchmarking exercise for University English Centres Australia (UECA).
UECA is a network of Australian university English language centres offering courses and testing services for overseas students.
The UECA project commenced in 2014, involving 23 member centres across two studies in 2014 and 2015. This is the third study that has been conducted for UECA, but the first by i-graduate.
In the context of increasing competition within Australia and globally, UECA felt it was vital for member centres to understand and compare resources, performance and returns on investment in English language teaching and operations. The study compares centre activity across several key indicators including staffing, student services, recruitment, size of centres, scholarships and teaching.
The study draws its inspiration from the benchmarking that i-graduate conducts each year with the Australian Universities' International Directors' Forum (AUIDF).
The UECA project is currently live with reporting to participating centres scheduled for August 2017.
i-graduate Australia Director Stephen Connelly said:
“We are delighted to be working with UECA to deliver a value-added service to members, and consolidating i-graduate’s place globally at the forefront of measures of international student satisfaction, recruitment, support and teaching.”
