Webinar: The Strategic SENCo at the Heart of School Improvement

Tuesday 30th April, 5:00 - 5:45pm

Who should attend
The content is designed for
Head Teachers; Directors of Learning; English teachers; maths teachers; SENCo/Learning Support; Curriculum Leaders/Assessment and Governors.

What you can expect to get out of attending
This free 45-minute webinar (+Q&A) will focus on what makes highly effective leadership of provision for pupils with SEN. As a busy SENCo (often juggling other roles in school too) it can feel impossible to be ‘something to everyone’. This session explores the following contributing factors and characteristics:

  • Culture and ethos of high expectations and equality of opportunity for all
  • Strong commitment to professional development and networking
  • Management and accountability systems
  • Delegated leadership and empowering staff

We will also cover the relevance of the nationally accredited Quality Mark framework when considering how to support and scaffold continuous quality improvement in Early Years settings.

Unable to attend the live session?
Simply register opposite and we'll send you a recording of the session.

Free audit tool extract: We will also provide all attendees with an extract of the audit tool to take back to your setting so you can immediately begin applying the knowledge gained during the session.

The audit tool is designed to be used as part of your self-assessment process and reflects findings of studies which identify shared views of high quality provision and its short and long term positive impact on pupils' learning.

Your presenters:

  • Bonnie Maslin - Deputy Headteacher & SENCo, Lyneham Primary
  • Nicola Morris - Quality Mark National Director, and Inspector

We look forward to welcoming you onto the session.

Kind regards
The Tribal Quality Mark Team
