We are living through an unprecedented time which is impacting everything about our way of life. That said, Tribal has enacted its business continuity plans and will continue to be able to support you day-to-day. 

 

All Tribal employees are now working from home, with full access to our systems and processes. Our service teams are continuing to provide support of all our products, and are contactable through the usual channels of our service desk. Our consultants are still working on a wide range of customer projects but have moved to a remote working model. While we will not be able to travel during this period, we have found that the majority of the work asked of us can still be successfully delivered. We also have a full suite of collaboration tools to support working with our customers remotely.

 

We understand that it is an extremely challenging environment while you aim to continue to deliver high-quality education and training under such challenging circumstances. Tribal is here to help, and we will try to overcome the barriers and disruption you are facing.

Empower Conference 2020

It is with careful consideration that we have decided to cancel the Empower Conference 2020 at the ICC in Birmingham.

However, we are looking at how we might still deliver the Empower: Higher Education Conference 2020, with really great, informative and empowering content - virtually.

The Empower Conferences designed for Further Education; Skills, Training and Employers; and Benchmarking and Surveys will all be postponed to a future date, which we will confirm as soon as we are able. 

We will continue to closely monitor the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), and we continue to proactively follow healthcare advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and government Health Authorities.

If you have:

  • Purchased exhibition space - we are in the process of contacting each exhibitor to arrange a full refund.
  • Registered your interest in attending the event - we will contact you via email with details of the potential virtual event as we have it.
  • Submitted a session synopsis or agreed to be a speaker, we will contact you individually in the coming weeks.
  • Any questions regarding the SITS User Groups, please contact us.

Tribal is closely monitoring the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), and we continue to proactively follow healthcare advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and government Health Authorities. We have a robust Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in place to ensure we maintain our ongoing service levels to our customers through this outbreak. An active internal review group is meeting daily to monitor and assess the situation, and we are ready to implement additional measures should the need arise.

Tribal operates several offices globally and work is distributed across these. We also fully embrace flexible and remote working, so even if one or more of our offices need to close, we will be in a position to continue providing an effective service to our customers from alternative offices and home-based employees.

We are taking necessary precautions to safeguard Tribal employees and have implemented some initial policies in the short-term to mitigate any potential issues arising from coronavirus. These include:

 

  • Encouraging our employees to reduce travel and face-to-face meetings where a virtual meeting is appropriate.
  • Following national governmental advice on work-related travel to affected areas.
  • Ensuring Staff wherever possible have remote devices with them in the event of an office shut down.
  • Reviewing our BCP against all likely impacts arising specifically from a coronavirus-related closure.
