Inspection Skills Training
Tribal's Inspection Skills Training is a highly respected and well-established course for school leaders who want to make a positive difference to the outcomes for children and young people.
"The quality of training was outstanding - the level of information, knowledge, skill development and opportunity for discussion as well as being a 'critical friend', enabled not only knowledge and skills to develop throughout the 4 days but also confidence in the requirements expected of an Inspector whether that be a team inspector or lead inspector.”
– Emily (December 2020 participant)

- understand the inspection process and the importance of the team working together to produce a secure evidence base that will stand up to scrutiny;
- gather and record first-hand evidence against a framework;
- provide evidence-based feedback to different stakeholders;
- summarise, triangulate and synthesise a wide range of evidence, as part of ‘evidence trails’ that will contribute to the written report;
- understand the importance of adherence to the Inspectors Code of Conduct.
"The training was well organized, detailed and the activities were varied and relevant to the objectives of the course. The one-on-one sessions were very helpful in consolidating information and providing deep and detailed feedback on the assignments. That was a great and focused learning opportunity.”
