Tribal has been awarded a two-year contract with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) to deliver the operational service and helpdesk support for users of the National Careers Service (NCS) Provider Portal. The contract, worth £975K, started in April 2019 and allows learning providers to upload details of their courses and apprenticeships to the NCS Provider Portal which then feeds the National Careers Service ‘Find a course’ and ‘Find apprenticeship training’ search pages.
Tribal has been providing services and software to the education sector for over 35 years, including delivery of the NCS Provider Portal operational support for almost five years. The ESFA chose to continue to work with Tribal due to its combination of a great track record, a strong presence in the sector, an experienced team and a really strong customer service culture.
Carla Martinho, Head of Data Management Services at Tribal, said:
“Having seen the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s vision for the National Careers Service and the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers, Tribal is really delighted to be chosen to play a part in realising that vision helping employers, learners, parents and carers to make the best choices.”
