Preparing for R14: Ensuring compliance and a confident ‘hard close’ of the ILR year (WBL)

Posted by Tribal Group

As the final ILR return of the year, after which no changes can be made, R14 represents a critical milestone for every apprenticeship provider. It’s the point at which data accuracy, funding compliance, and internal processes are put under the greatest scrutiny, and the consequences of errors can be significant.  Failure to properly manage your R14 data before the close of the funding year can result in permanent funding errors and carry over of unresolved errors to the following year.

This session provides a clear, practical walkthrough of what providers need to have in place ahead of R14, how to identify and resolve high-risk issues, and how to ensure your data stands up to audit requirements. Whether you’re leading MIS, quality, curriculum, or compliance, this webinar will help you strengthen your organisation’s year-end assurance.

In this webinar, we’ll cover:

  • The purpose of R14 in the ILR cycle – and the impact of getting it wrong.
  • R14 checklist: Everything you need to check before your final submission.
  • Common PDSAT errors that auditors look for, and how to resolve them.
  • Practical steps to reduce the risk of funding claw back.
  • Using best practice tools to validate your data before the final submission including FIS, PDSAT, and FRM reports.
  • Steps to take to ensure your data is accurate in the published National achievement rates tables.
  • Q&A session: Get your questions answered by our experts in a Q&A session.
