Posted by Tribal Group

Tribal are thrilled to share that The University of the Arts London (UAL) has announced the successful go-live of its comprehensive cloud migration project. This significant milestone marks a major step forward in UAL’s digital transformation journey, enhancing the university's operational efficiency and student experience.

This project involved a collaborative effort between UAL and Tribal to migrate UAL’s on-premises solution to the Tribal Cloud seamlessly. This complex undertaking included the implementation of a robust architecture supporting Unity Cradle and SSRS in the cloud environment. The teams worked diligently to align with UAL’s delivery timelines, ensuring thorough testing and seamless integration changes prior to the full cloud deployment.

This is marvellous news, and I want to thank the team for the enormous work which has gone into a successful migration. These things take a long time to plan and are very complex; they also require a lot of collaboration across the organisation. Ensuring our student records system is running as well as possible is vital to the success of the University, and to the student and staff experience"

Karen Stanton, Vice Chancellor of University of the Arts London

This project required a significant group effort across Tribal, with numerous teams contributing to the successful go-live.

This successful migration to the Tribal Cloud will enable UAL to leverage the benefits of enhanced scalability, security, and flexibility, ultimately improving the delivery of services to its students and staff.
