MAYTAS is the Learner Management System for UK Work-Based Learning, used by training providers, FE colleges, universities and employer providers to manage apprenticeships and other funded learning. MAYTAS 6 is the current SaaS generation.
Tribal’s Funding and Compliance team tracks every DfE rule change and feeds it directly into MAYTAS. Validation rules, reports and workflows update before the rule takes effect, not after. Providers don’t monitor regulation; we do.
MAYTAS has real-time ILR validation built into the workflow. Errors are flagged at point of delivery, not after submission, so issues can be fixed before they trigger a clawback.
MAYTAS is a Learner Management System, the ePortfolio is one capability inside MAYTAS, alongside ILR validation, 140+ maintained reports, EPA workflow support, employer engagement, and more.
Yes, MAYTAS includes a comprehensive API layer meaning you can securely integrate with virtually any other system. MAYTAS is the only Learner Management System with an approved integration into SITS, used by more UK universities than any other Student Management System. For FE colleges using EBS, there is a productised EBS-MAYTAS approved integration.
MAYTAS includes 140+ maintained reports including Ofsted evidence, QAR returns, and inclusion data aligned to the 2026 Ofsted Framework. Inspection readiness is built into the daily workflow, not added at audit time.
Yes. MAYTAS 6 supports employer providers with live levy and cohort dashboards, multi-site consistency, and built-in compliance for Ofsted and ESFA. The fully managed SaaS model means no infrastructure overhead for HR or L&D teams.
