As the leaves turn, it’s time for the Autumn Service Pack update - a crucial part of our annual release cycle that ensures your system stays compliant and current!
A Quick Recap: July’s Release
Back in July, we rolled out our 5.30 release, with enhancements to both MAYTAS and MAYTAS Hub/ePortfolio. This included:
- Updated ILR and LLWR specifications for the new academic year.
- New Off-the-Job calculations for learners starting post-August 2025.
- Community-raised improvements for Hub including default permission groups, grid view for data collection forms and Learner Journey enhancements... and more…
These updates laid the groundwork for a smoother, more efficient year ahead.
October Service Pack - Out Now
The Autumn Service Pack is more than just a tidy-up, it’s a strategic update that responds to changes in funding, compliance, and customer feedback - in particularly managing learner wellbeing. Here’s what’s landing in this year’s update:
Statutory Updates for ILR and LLWR 2025-26
Finalised additional updates to the ILR and LLWR validation rules to support 25/26 submissions.
Funding Reconciler Reports
New PFR reconciler reports for 2025/26, now with the ability to separate data by funding model, making it easier to reconcile funding and minimise errors.
Financial Planning Enhancements
Modules now support current-year planning, giving you better visibility and control over budgets and forecasts.
New Cohort Field
A new “Cohort” field has been added to support grouping Trainees by cohort.
Plus, MAYTAS Hub Gets Smarter
This Service Pack also brings several usability updates to MAYTAS Hub (our ePortfolio), including NEW Wellbeing Enhancements! At Empower, we delivered a wellbeing session and heard customer feedback that the functionality was good but needed to go further. So, we've expanded it to give learners who rate themselves as feeling negative the option to add a comment/explanation and created a new Wellbeing Dashboard which enables Assessors to review, action and monitor ratings.
Community-Driven Enhancements
In response to Community feedback, several feature enhancements have been implemented, including the ability to bulk select/deselect Module criteria when creating a new Template and the option to expand the Learner Journey beyond the PED.
Why This Matters
As always, the Service Pack ensures that MAYTAS evolves with the sector, responding to funding changes, refining workflows, and enhancing the user experience.
