ACT is the largest work-based training provider in Wales. Together with their partners, they deliver a ground-breaking range of Traineeships and Apprenticeship programmes with excellent pass rates. They have training centres throughout Wales providing a fresh, first-class environment for learning.
The Welsh Government recently announced their requirement to go “Born Digital” for Apprenticeship and Traineeship programmes. The National Training Federation for Wales (NTfW), the Welsh Government and Jisc have committed to a change programme driving ISO 27001:2013 conformance (the international information security management standard) across the work-based learning sector in Wales, by July 2017, meaning the Welsh skills sector will be leading the way in terms of information security.
ACT use Tribal’s leading learner management system, Maytas, which helps them to submit their data returns and claim funding. ACT has recently selected Online Applications, which integrates with Maytas, to manage their digital applications process.
Matthew Burnett, Contract and Data Manager at ACT Training said:
“We wanted to easily integrate an online applications platform with Maytas when we discovered Tribal offered this it was the ideal fit. Online Applications be the first phase of our move to full digital solutions across our business, which should make ACT a more efficient and lean organisation from this perspective.”
